Regulatory status of Target Venture Advisory Ltd
Target Venture Advisory Ltd is a legal and commercial consultancy. It is not authorised or regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) and is not an SRA-authorised law firm.

What this means for clients
Services provided through Target Venture Advisory Ltd are not provided by an SRA-authorised firm. The SRA’s compulsory professional indemnity insurance arrangements for authorised firms do not apply to the company.
Target Venture Advisory Ltd holds professional indemnity insurance with Hiscox with a cover limit of £10 million. Details of the policy, including any relevant exclusions, are available on request.
Clients will not be entitled to make a claim on the SRA Compensation Fund in respect of work carried out by the company.
Reserved legal activities
Where any matter requires the conduct of reserved legal activities within the meaning of the Legal Services Act 2007, Target Venture Advisory Ltd will advise you and, where appropriate, work alongside an SRA-authorised firm or other appropriately regulated provider to ensure those activities are carried out lawfully.
Complaints
If you have a concern about the service you receive, please contact us in the first instance at complaints@tva.vc. We will acknowledge your complaint promptly and provide details of our internal complaints procedure.
Depending on the nature of the service and your eligibility, you may also have the right to refer a complaint to the Legal Ombudsman. The Legal Ombudsman’s time limits and eligibility criteria apply.
Conflicts and confidentiality
We treat client information confidentially and handle conflicts of interest in accordance with our professional obligations and internal procedures. If a conflict arises, we will tell you and take appropriate steps, which may include declining or ceasing to act.
