Why TVA exists

Founder
Matthew Rhys
Matthew is a solicitor of England and Wales with experience across venture capital, M&A, emerging companies, commercial contracts and in-house legal leadership. Before founding TVA, he practised at Cooley, one of the world's leading technology and venture capital law firms, and at TLT. His work has included more than 100 venture and corporate transactions for founders, investors and growth businesses.
He works with leadership teams and in-house lawyers as embedded and interim counsel, fractional General Counsel, transaction adviser and senior commercial lawyer. The role is not simply to identify legal risk. It is to help the business understand the issue, make a decision and get the work completed.

Matthew Rhys is a solicitor of England and Wales regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority as an individual and is the only lawyer employed by Target Venture Advisory Ltd. Other lawyers are engaged by TVA as independent contractors to provide legal services. Target Venture Advisory Ltd is not an SRA-authorised law firm.
